Auch der zweite Tag in Basel war ein Rausch der Bilder, Farben, Eindrücke und Emotionen. Mit meiner Begleitung wurde ich sogar selbst Teil einer Performance. Wie bereits an Tag 1 fiel mir auf, dass sehr viele Dubuffets im Umlauf waren. Was mich sehr freute, konnte ich doch erst im Frühjahr die wunderbare Ausstellung „Jean Dubuffet – Metamorphosen der Landschaft“ in der Fondation Beyeler, in Riehen bei Basel bewundern. Ein Maler, der Brite Christopher Le Brun, Präsident der Royal Academy, hat mich mit seinen Farben völlig umgehauen. Die Unlimited Halle hatte sich mit den Installationen wieder einmal selbst übertroffen. Dort, beim UBS Stand, bin ich auch auf eine interessante und sehr umfangreiche App gestossen: Sie heißt Planet Art und bietet für Kunstinteressierte vielseitige Informationen. The second day at Art Basel was also like a blur of paintings, colors, impressions and emotions. Even my company and I became a small part of an art performance. Like on day one I’ve seen a lot of Dubuffet paintings on the fair. Which I like, especially since I’ve seen in spring of this year the beautiful exhibition: „Jean Dubuffet – Metamorphosen der Landschaft“ at Fondation Beyeler near Basel. Another artist who caught my interest from the spot was the British painter Christopher Le Brun, president of the Royal Academy. I love his sense of colors and the way he is transforming them in his abstract motifs.
The Unlimited Hall with all kind of performances and installations was just fabulous. There, at the UBS Booth, I discovered a very interesting and senseful app for Art lovers: Planet Art. Download is worth it – for sure. More about the fair and the artists etc. is coming asap on Exhibitions.
